Small team, long memory
The name and the shopfront have changed over the years. The way we work hasn't.
We're still a small, family-run team. You deal with the same people from your first call to the day your blinds go up or your floor goes down. We measure ourselves, order from suppliers we trust, keep you informed while your order is made, and install it ourselves.
Many of our customers come back to us when they renovate, build or move house.
Where we've been
Three names, one family business.
- 1979
Husband and wife Billy and Marlene Phillips open Paarl Floor Services on 7 May.
- 1990s
With customers asking for good blinds and proper installation, Billy Phillips Blinds and Awnings is born.
- One name
Their son Billy takes over the running of the business, and the two companies come together as BILLYPHILLIPS.
- Burg Street
For many years our showroom was a Cape Dutch house on Burg Street, Wellington.
- Paarl
We move to Alleman Square Business Park in Paarl, where our showroom is today.
- Today
Blinds, shutters and flooring from eight leading suppliers, fitted across Paarl, Wellington and Stellenbosch.
